However, tonight at 9:45 he arrived, and of course, parked in my driveway – intending as he has previously, to park there overnight. I’ve said this before, but I’ll repeat it – if permission to park in my driveway was asked, I would not withhold it. But, I will not quietly stand still for any more of this behavior that is contemptuous of my rights as a tenant – as per my lease. I told Naulls she had 5 minutes to move the car.

Shortly afterwards, her boyfriend rushed out in a rage, and immediately attempted to physically intimidate me by pushing his face into mine so forcefully, that his forehead bounced off the side of my head as I attempted to back away from someone who was obviously out of control. All the while, this person was spewing a torrent of vindictive swear words, including the “F” word, and the “C” word – mixed in with an assortment of colorfully charged phrases which don’t need to be repeated.

I have avoided contact with Naulls and her boyfriend in the past regarding this parking issue, since I knew instinctively, that the boyfriend would mirror Naulls’ sheer nastiness and, her “me first and only”, attitude. Too bloody right! Turned out exactly that way. Much worse actually. Naulls’ is responsible for her visitors behavior and as such, she is as culpable in this situation as he is.

Please understand my frustration; after nearly six years of living here, during which time I have kept to the terms of my lease scrupulously, including paying the rent on time, every time – I am regularly forced to fight for rights accorded me by the lease (and the Landlord and Tenant Act) – not the least of which is, my right to quite enjoyment. I’m now faced with a situation where I’ll be forced to be on my guard with a visitor to this property, to ensure I don’t suffer a physical assault from this person who intimated by his behavior, and words tonight, that he was ready to do just that.

This is my home – this is where I live, and I will not be forced to make adjustments in my living conditions to avoid contact with a person who is a visitor to this property, and as such, has no legally enforceable right to be here. Why should it be necessary for me to have to consider my safety, if and when, this person is on this property?

I’ll say it again – this is my home – this is where I live, and appropriate action on your part is required immediately to resolve this threatening situation.

Put yourself in my place – consider how you would react if you were exposed to this in your home.

But, the message seems to have been misplaced – no surprise there (I’ve been through this good girl/bad girl switch of hers, many times). After a period of reasonable behavior, she has recently slipped back into her “fuck you” mind set. The type of mind set you could expect to see with a person who has a twisted and warped personality.

At times during the last three months or so, it’s fair to say, there have been occasions when it was all but impossible to know if she was in her unit – she was that quite. That’s not to say, that there was an overall dramatic fall-off in the banging and slamming – there wasn’t. But, it certainly was less consistent. It was almost possible to consider that I was living in a normal rental environment. Although, just barely.

This shift, by Naulls, to a much less noisy atmosphere, (which lasted roughly three months), is vindication of what I’ve always maintained – there’s no reason for the level of noise that this woman makes, other than her sheer nastiness and, her “me first and only”, attitude.

As I’ve pointed out here previously, one of my computer systems (which is on 24/7), has been set up to record all noise above a set range (very loud noises), from her unit, and I’ve now accumulated more than 19 hours of dated, and time coded, computer sound files of Susan Naulls banging and slamming – including her three AM nonsense, from last night.

Still, it looks as if I’m back to dealing with the same issues from not only three months ago, but the same issues I’ve been forced to deal with since shortly after Naulls moved in.

However, my financial outlook has improved considerable in the last few months. I have now reached a stage where I can draw down on my personal retirement plan, as well as my Canada Pension Plan. Consequently, I have substantially more options as to where I choose to live, than I’ve had previously.

Despite the positive changes in finances, I will not be bullied by this under educated sorry excuse for a human being. Unquestionably, in the end, Naulls will be have to live with the consequences of her behavior. There’s nothing quite as true as “We reap what we sow”

Here it is January 1, 2011 almost 2 AM, and I’m sitting here typing this story because Susan Naulls, as she has frequently over the course of the last month or more, made it impossible to sleep.

This time thought, I let her know that I’m not prepared to allow this bullshit to continue. I’m angry and made no attempt to hide it. Her boyfriend, one of a continuing series of boyfriends, (definitely NOT the same boyfriend mentioned in the last post), let me know his views with his simple solution to problem solving – “Go Fuck yourself”.

What neither she, nor the boyfriend are aware of is – his “Go Fuck yourself” solution, is on tape. In fact, all of the slamming and banging of doors and drawers, the regular moving of furniture, and her jumping up and down on the floors at all hours of the day and night, has been captured on tape for the last six weeks, as per my lawyer’s instructions.

I’m a computer technologist, and I test software applications and computer hardware which is under development for a number of major companies, so getting sophisticated computer software, or hardware, is not an issue.

One of my computers has been set up to record all noise above a set range, and to this this point, I’ve accumulated more than 15 hours of  dated and time coded computer sound files of Susan Naulls banging and slamming.

I’m not going to have another year of this nonsense, and when my lawyer determines that enough sound files have been accumulated to present a strong case to a court, he will launch a case for damages.

I’m going to use all of my Internet resources (which number hundreds of sophisticated contacts worldwide), to track down this latest boyfriend and add him, and his history, to this site. “Go Fuck yourself?” We’ll see!

Nasty neighbors, like Susan Naulls, are a strange breed, and she, like many nasty neighbors, comes complete with the requisite twisted social tendencies – an enhanced ability to lie, lack of regard for the rights of others, manipulative traits,  and a selfish and egocentric mindset.

No surprise then, that nasty neighbor Susan Naulls seems to find nothing wrong with her lack of respect for the rights of others. In this case, my rights as a neighbor – rights which are laid out in my lease, and which are enforceable in law.

Having lived with an active drug dealer for seven years, according to her own accounting, appears to have left an indelible mark on Susan Naulls personality. Although, it may well be, that her twisted personality is the result of parental failure, or a deficiency in her genetic make-up. Whatever the cause, Naulls seems to be lacking in certain social sensibilities.

For three years I’ve listened to this woman slamming and banging every door and drawer available to her, at all hours of the day and night, (as I write this, she has SLAMMED her back door seven times in the last ten minutes); throwing her furniture around her kitchen (hard to believe, I know); jumping up and down on her floors; and on and on.

Despite this lunacy, I have sought help from the landlord in having these issues addressed – unsuccessfully; but there’s another story there. I will concede however, that the landlord did attempt to deal with the noise issue by installing a floating ceiling between my upper unit, and Naulls’ lower unit. Problem solved you might think – but no; Naulls simply pumped up the volume, so to speak.

Shortly after Naulls moved in, both of my cats disappeared. This, after one of my cats had a confrontation with her cat in the backyard. The following day, both my cats were gone.

I can’t prove that she’s responsible, but it’s a fair assumption given that the day my cats disappeared, I watched Naulls removing a cat carrier from the back of her car.

This past summer, with a total disregard for either my rights, or my personal property, Naulls moved my garden shed from one area in the shared backyard, to another. No discussion, no permission – I was simply presented with a fait accompli. A tarpaulin, which went missing during this unauthorized move, has still not been replaced. In a real sense, this amounts to theft.

Recently, both she and her boyfriend had taken to parking in my assigned parking space for no good reason – other than she thought she could. After all, she’s use to stomping on my rights, and appears to be not overly concerned with consequences. I have since put a stop to that.

This past week’s crazy behavior (including the banging and slamming that went on up to 1 AM, on each of the last two nights), has finally convinced me to take the type of action that should put this untenable situation into perspective for Naulls; and that is – there are consequences for her behavior.

We now live in a world where the Internet has proven to be the ideal tool to place a spotlight on aberrant, and bullying behavior. So, Susan Naulls will undoubtedly learn soon enough, that the days of bullying others in isolation, are over. Bullying behavior has consequences.
